There are no words big enough to describe the hole Jericho has left in our hearts.
For nearly ten years, he filled our lives with unconditional love, endless laughter, and the kind of loyalty that only a dog can give. He was our little shadow, our adventure buddy, our comfort on the hardest days, and the reason so many ordinary moments became our favorite memories.
Jericho had the sweetest soul. He made friends everywhere he went, loved with his whole heart, and somehow always knew exactly when one of us needed a cuddle, a goofy smile, or simply his quiet presence. His silly personality, expressive face, and happy little corgi walk brought joy to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Justin and Jericho shared a bond that was truly one of a kind. They were inseparable. Watching the love between them was one of the greatest privileges of my life. Jericho adored his dad, and Justin loved him with every piece of his heart. Losing him has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever experienced, but we find comfort in knowing that Jericho knew every single day just how deeply he was loved.
Although our hearts wanted more time, we knew that loving Jericho also meant giving him the greatest final gift we could—peace. Saying goodbye was the hardest decision we’ve ever made, but it was made entirely out of love.
We can never thank Nevada Pet Hospice enough for the compassion, kindness, and dignity they gave our sweet boy in his final moments. They treated Jericho like family and gave him the peaceful, gentle farewell he deserved while surrounding him with love. We will be forever grateful for their incredible team and the comfort they brought to all of us during the most heartbreaking day of our lives.
Jericho, thank you for choosing us. Thank you, every adventure, every laugh, and every memory. Thank you for teaching us what unconditional love truly means.
You will always be our first baby, our best friend, and the greatest dog we could have ever asked for.
Run free over the Rainbow Bridge, sweet boy. Chase every licky ball, throw around your treat game ,make new friends, and know that one day we’ll find each other again.
Until then, you will be loved, missed, and remembered every single day.
Forever our Jericho. Forever in our hearts. ❤️🌈🐾
