Beans was more than a dog—he was my child, my family, and my heart. From the moment he came into my life, he filled it with his snuggles, his sweet pug purrs, and the softest ears you could ever imagine. He loved to travel and shared adventures with me everywhere—from the mountains of Lake Tahoe to the beaches of La Jolla and San Diego, from the energy of Los Angeles to the beauty of Santa Barbara—always soaking in the journey with joy.
He had a way of speaking at mealtimes, letting us know he was part of everything. At night, he would curl beside me, purring like only he could, and last night I still heard it. If I could have bottled up that sound, I would have, to carry him with me forever.
When Beans stopped eating, I knew his time with me was drawing to a close. My heart broke as I had to answer the call for him to cross the rainbow bridge. He is now reunited with Frank, Cherise, and Cedric, running toward them with excitement, finally free of pain.
The house feels quieter now, and the absence is heavy. But I will always carry his spirit, his love, and his memories. He gave me, my mom, Porky, and Romy so much joy. He was my faithful companion, my little soul mate, and I will miss him every single day.
Run free, Beans. Until we meet again. 🌈❤️
